Kosovo clamps down on hydropower violations

Inspections across Kosovo revealed widespread failures by hydropower operators to respect minimum ecological river flows. The Ministry introduced mandatory flow-monitoring equipment, stricter ecological flow rules, and the power to suspend water-use rights.
